Design and maintenance of an Internet travel agency
From the conceptual design of the business model to the custom programming of the CRM and the internet booking engine (IBE) I was involved in all aspects of the business.

Setup and maintenance of a Webhosting-Provider
During this project for a small internet web-space provider, founded as many of today's well-known large providers didn’t even exist, I could immerse myself into the management of Sun- and Linux web-servers.
- Setup and maintenance of various Webserves (Sun, Redhat, Suse)
- Server maintenance with Parallels / Plesk, Webmin, Yast and others
- Mail-server administration, virus protection, Anti-SPAM (SpamAssassin, Greylisting...)

Setup for several Web-Shops
For several clients I was involved in the planning and realization of their own e-commerce solution – ranging from a few dozen to several thousand items.
- Installation, configuration and customization of various e-commerce systems for car accessories, tuning, toys, services - B2C and B2B
- Programming of import filters for data acquisition from existing ERP systems
- Optimizing pages/shops for search engines (SEO), online marketing
Programming of online tools, "Web 2.0"
For a personal project I programmed several interactive tools - mostly based on PHP / mySQL
- FAQ-database with PHP/mySQL with MS-Access front-end for easy data maintenance
- Online-encyclopaedia /calendar in PHP with mySQL

- graphical guestbook (dynamically generated images instead of text entries)
- Setup and maintenance for an interactive fan-portal
Design and programming of a human resource database
For a large bank in Frankfurt, the administration of training activities for the employees had to be systematized and simplified. As a solution, a custom MS Access database was programmed
